CALL FOR POSTERS

IEEE DySPAN 2019
IEEE International Symposium on Dynamic Spectrum Access Networks
11-14 November 2019 // Newark, NJ, USA

https://dyspan2019.ieee-dyspan.org/

In addition to the main conference program, the IEEE DySPAN 2019 conference will include a poster session which is aimed at showcasing work in progress in an informal setting. Topics of interest are the same as those in the DySPAN’19 conference call for papers. Although anyone can submit a poster, preference will be given to posters where the primary contribution is from one or more students. At the conference, student posters must be presented by a student. The poster submissions should describe original and unpublished work and should not be under review for any other conference or journal.

POSTER FORMAT

Your posters should be A0 paper size to which you can affix visually appealing material that describes your research. You should utilize the poster space in a way that most efficiently communicates your research problem, techniques, results, and what is novel and important about your work. The conference setup will be able to accommodate both vertical and horizontal posters.

SUBMISSION

Authors should submit a poster abstract that explains the main contribution of their work. In addition, it should describe the particular problem being addressed, what makes this problem interesting or important, and your approach to the problem. The maximum length of the abstract is 2 pages in the same IEEE format as the full conference papers. Details about the format can be found here: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html.

The DySPAN 2019 Poster Co-chairs and TPC members will select the most innovative and thought-provoking posters for presentation. The poster submissions will be reviewed as rigorously and are expected to have high quality just like full papers. The main difference is that poster session provides more interactive way to present work and is particularly well suited for work-in-progress type of discussions.
